The Association of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology Experts (AFMTE) is a premier professional body dedicated to the advancement of forensic sciences and the pursuit of justice through medical expertise. Established as a collective of leading Forensic Medicine Experts, Toxicologists, and Medico-legal Experts, AFMTE serves as a bridge between the medical community and the judicial system.

In an era where scientific precision is the cornerstone of legal integrity, AFMTE provides a platform for specialized knowledge exchange, rigorous research, and the standardization of forensic practices. We are committed to upholding the highest ethical standards while evolving with the latest technological advancements in the field.

Aims and objectives:

The core mission of AFMTE is to elevate the standard of forensic medicine and toxicology through the following objectives:

To promote and maintain the highest standards of clinical and academic practice in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology.

To encourage, facilitate, and publish original research that contributes to the evolution of Forensic Medicine and Toxicological analysis.

To provide expert guidance to governmental and judicial bodies on matters of medical jurisprudence and public health policy.

To organize State conferences, CME, workshops, and seminars that foster collaboration between forensic experts, legal professionals, and law enforcement agencies.

To develop and implement uniform protocols – Medicolegal Manual (SOP) for Medicolegal works i.e., for post-mortem examinations, clinical forensic medicine, and laboratory toxicological procedures in Gujarat State.

To safeguard the professional interests of its members and ensure that forensic practices are conducted with impartiality, integrity, and respect for human rights.

To support the professional development of young Forensic Medicine Experts and Residents through specialized training programs, academic resources like faculty guest lectures as well as various PG Activities
